It’s not very often that a team can lose a series when they’re up 3 games to 1. That’s exactly what the Los Angeles Clippers managed to do. Not only that but they managed to blow game 2 as well. This could’ve been a sweep from the Clippers, but instead, they’re sitting at home today.
A lot of questions have to be raised. Should they trade Blake Griffin? Should they fire Doc Rivers? I don’t think they should do either of those things, but I know some fans will be shouting from the roof tops for changes. With so much money tied up to their stars, it will be hard to add anything of significance this off-season. The Cap is expected to jump way up for the 2017 season, so my unsolicited advice is, make a few minor tweeks, and see if you can cash in when the salary jumps and you can make your moves.
Remember the Stockton and Malone led Jazz. Patience will pay off if you let it. PS couldn’t have happened to a nicer group of guys.
